Today, everyone desires to own a smartphone. It doesn’t matter whether you’re BBC (Born before Computers) or old school. The digital trend is quickly shifting to accommodate the elites.

You have to be acquainted with a few skills in order to be able to use smartphones. Firstly you must be able to read in order to work on devices like smartphones.

The millennials today are well vast with almost every gadget that comes out in the market and so smartphones are in high demand.

With a smartphone, you get the pleasure to stream social media, YouTube, and browse the entire internet so long as you’re online.

You also get to have a taste of applications that ease daily lives such as entertainment Apps, Social Apps, or Finance tracking Apps among others.

One such brand of smartphones is the Tecno phones which are making headlines for their battery quality among other features.

So today we shall look at the features and specifications of the Tecno Pop2

1. Overview of the box

From the glimpse of the retail box, it’s obvious that the Tecno pop2 plus is an Android Smartphone.

It has the most essential Apps preloaded, no bloatware or regular security updates and two years of software upgrade.

At the back of the retail box, you will see Tecno Pop2 plus Specifications.

2. Inside the box

Now when you open the box, the Tecno pop2 plus is built of Champagne Gold Cover that is removable.

And when you open the back cover,

There are 3 trays to accommodate 2 Nano sim cards and a memory card.

It also houses the 5000 mAh non-removable Big Battery

Other accessories

The phone didn’t come alone. It includes:

  • Manual for the Tecno Pop2 plus
  • Charger and USB
  • Headset
  • Transparent back cover

Back to the phone

The Tecno Pop2 plus features 5.99 inches touchscreen and 480×960 pixels resolution.

At the top of the screen are the earpiece and 8MP front camera with flash for selfies and video calls.

There is no physical soft keys. However the navigation is placed on-screen.

The back of the Tecno pop2 plus houses a 5MP Rear Camera with dual flash to deliver photos with effects very fast and with accurate focus.

There is also a fingerprint reader below the Tecno pop2 plus dual flash.

There is also a speaker grill at the left corner for music and loudspeaker.

At the bottom-right is another speaker grill for microphone. The USB port is placed in the middle after the speaker grill for microphone.

The Tecno pop2 plus volume control and the power button are on the right-hand side of the phone. You can use it to take screenshots by pressing and holding power button and the lower volume control subsequently.

The headset/headphone jack is located at the top of the phone.

More features of the Tecno pop2 plus

The Tecno pop2 plus I purchased is currently running Android 8.1 Oreo.

The copy I received also has 16GB of internal storage and 1GB RAM.

How much is Tecno Pop2 plus in Uganda?

The Tecno Pop2 Plus was announced on May, 2019 and currently available in Tecno Shops. Depending on your location, you can find the phone in Tecno shops. In Uganda, you can get it at Simba telecom and any other Tecno Shops. Same applies to Juba, South Sudan.

The price ranges around 340,000 ugx/$94 depending on your geographical location.
